Following a 13-year career in television news (including a stint at local ABC Action News), Tracey Sievertson launched her own public relations company in January 2005. TLS Media specializes in media training and video production.

Now, instead of repeating the message, Tracey enjoys crafting the message for clients like Destination Club Partners and the Clearwater Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Of her new role in the media, Tracey believes FPRA is a wonderful resource for all communication professionals. “FPRA has been

especially helpful in the transition from journalism to public relations. The networking and relationship building opportunities are second to none,”  she said.

When Tracey isn't serving as FPRA secretary or marketing her new business, you will likely find her at a t-ball game with her five-year old son and their chocolate Labrador Retriever. They have called Tampa home for four years.

Tracey majored in journalism at the University of Arizona . Her first television jobs were in small to mid-size markets in the Midwest, near her family in Chicago . Tracey made the move to Florida in 1997 to serve as a bureau chief for ABC Orlando. Some of her career highlights include creating an environmental franchise, working in partnership with a national consumer advocacy group to solve viewer problems and being on the frontlines of two presidential campaigns in the I-4 corridor.
