BOARD MEMBER SPOTLIGHT
ENHANCING THE BRAND

Kimberly Skrovanek serves as Information Specialist for Sunken Gardens with the City of St. Petersburg. Prior to that, Kim lived in California, and worked at the public relations firm Gold & Company. A Florida native, Kim was born in West Palm Beach and raised in St. Petersburg . She is a graduate of the University of South Florida . Her hobby is kayaking and she lives in St. Petersburg with her husband and their dog Knight.

As vice president of communications for FPRA Tampa Bay, Kim oversees the chapter's communications, including media relations, the web site and the chapter newsletter FPRA Express . "My goal has been to enhance the Tampa Bay chapter's brand by re-designing

 

the newsletter and the web site," she said. Kim sought out and organized a stellar communications team to spearhead these endeavors.

She said, “I would like to thank each team member for all of their hard work and dedication: Jamie McIver, FPRA Express Editor; Paula MacDonald, FPRA Express design; Shantell Noble, web site content/design and Dan McLean for his assistance redesigning the web site.”

NEW CHAPTER SECRETARY

The Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Tracey Sievertson is our chapter's new Secretary! We're very grateful to Tracey for volunteering to take on this important responsibility and know that she will be a tremendous asset to our association. Many of you may know Tracey already from the small screen: she is an award-winning television journalist with 13 years of broadcast experience and was a lead reporter at Tampa's ABC affiliate, WFTS-TV prior to launching her own media services company, TLS Media (www.tlsknowsmedia.com) earlier this year.
