The Senior Manager, Marketing Strategy & Media Relations plays a key role in defining how, where, and when our brand is delivered to new audiences, and audiences that are not well penetrated. This includes planning brand awareness campaigns, analyzing media plans, calendaring campaign execution, and working with the Director, Corporate Marketing and Creative Director to activate on ConnectWise’s overall marketing and communications strategy. This position manages the Senior Public Relations Manager and the Content Strategy Manager.

Responsibilities / Essential Duties:

Under the Director, Corporate Marketing, map out a brand awareness and corporate messaging strategy that supports and extends marketing initiatives in key markets.
Collaborate with key leaders and subject matter experts within the organization to produce high quality content that aligns to awareness initiatives as well as brand, voice, and tone and inspires partners, prospects, colleagues, and future colleagues
Develop scalable campaigns that drive brand awareness and positive brand perception in media
Identify opportunities for brand building sponsorship opportunities and manage relationships with related contacts, vendors, and external agencies to execute
Manage multiple projects and competing priorities
Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in style, quality and tone of voice, and appropriate for the channels where it is utilized
Initially Lead and coach a team of 2-3 colleagues (PR, Content Strategy Manager)
Responsible for the daily activities of the team
Accountable for the long-term career development of team members
Develop a highly rewarding, high performing team culture
Establish and maintain strong relationships with Revenue team members and members of the Executive Leadership and Senior Leadership teams

Required Skills / Knowledge:

Broad knowledge of brand and corporate messaging, and media relations
Experience pitching exciting and inspiring new projects to executive leadership
Full understanding of media relationships
Excellent communication skills
Demonstrate the willingness to take general and specific direction from and execute this position in an expert and professional manner
Able to function as a contributing team member and interact positively and openly with peers, subordinates, other departments, upper-management and external business contacts
Able to manage and prioritize activities to maximize productivity and efficiency; exhibit a high degree of initiative and professionalism

Education / Previous Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in related field (e.g. Communications, Marketing, Public Relations) or equivalent work experience, MBA or Master’s degree preferred, or 6-10 years’ experience and demonstration of success in similar or related position
5-8 years’ experience producing content for a large and diverse audience
5-8 years’ experience working with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver impactful material
5-8 years management experience
