Marketing and Mission Support Specialist

Clearwater For Youth (CFY), a long-standing local charity, is seeking a full-time Marketing and Mission Support Specialist who will be tasked with storytelling and extending the reach thus impact of the organization’s vision. This employee will report to the Executive Director, yet work closely with the organization’s Board of Trustees, community groups, the public and supporters. Since 1972, CFY has remained dedicated to helping kids, regardless of circumstance, have every opportunity to reach their fullest potential, while building character through sport and productive programming.

• Must present and represent CFY with courtesy, professionalism and fairness
• Support all initiatives of the organization while cultivating strong relationships with constituents
• Map and integrate messaging to highlight the impact of philanthropy- grants, scholarships, events and programming
• Build, manage and moderate digital and social media presence under established guidelines to enhance awareness and community engagement
• Ensure the right voice is carried through each platform
• Create distribution calendar and schedule posts
• Develop e-blasts, e-mail marketing campaign and monthly e-newsletter
• Offer design support plus implement high-quality visual and written content, both in electronic and print form
• Contribute to website aesthetic and supply content to keep site current and fresh
• Prepare and analyze data to measure successes (Google Analytics, etc.)
• Help develop and maintain organization database
• Supplement the planning, coordination and execution of fundraising events
• Administrative tasks related to general office procedures, record management, etc.
• Assist with new initiatives that actively and positively align CFY and community partners

• Bachelor’s degree and 1-2 years of marketing and/or non-profit experience
• Strong sense of confidentiality
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication abilities
• Experience developing a social media community through strategy
• Proficiency in MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint); social and digital media platforms and tools (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Hootsuite, Go Daddy, WordPress, MailChimp, Constant Contact, etc.); design and graphic processes (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Canva, etc.)
• Driven, creative, proactive and collaborative approach while also perform independently
• Possess high attention to detail and outstanding organization skills
• Exhibit strong follow up abilities
• Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends
• Aptitude to learn new platforms and perform other duties as assigned
