Communications Director, Pinellas County Supervisor of Elections

Responsible for planning, organizing, executing and supervising the dissemination of information concerning the full range of activities performed by the Supervisor of Elections. This position requires extensive public contact and must effectively communicate with a wide range of interested groups, including the general public, community, media and governmental agencies. Duties involve assistance with public spokesperson issues, media relations, public relations, citizen interactions and promotional efforts. Considerable independence of judgment and action are inherent. This position serves as the public records liaison. This position also manages the Voter Outreach Department. Duties performed under the direct supervision of the Supervisor of Elections and Deputy Supervisor of Elections.
