Image Awards
The Tampa Bay Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association is pleased to call for entries for our 28th Annual Image Awards competition. The Image Awards competition is conducted each spring to recognize outstanding public relations programs and to encourage and promote the development of public relations professionalism.
Three top awards are presented, provided enough entries are received to qualify each division. The judges examine all entries winning Image Awards in the Printed Tools division to determine an Image Award for Best Printed Tool. They then review all the Image award-winning entries in the Audio and Visual Tools division to select an Image Award for Best Audio and Visual Tool. Finally, the judges review the winning Image Award-winners in the Public Relations Program division to determine the Grand All Tampa Bay Chapter Image Award - the best in the area.
An Award of Distinction is presented to all entries that meet the standards of excellence set by a panel of judges. The judges are qualified, experienced and accomplished public relations professionals drawn from the communications profession.
The top-scoring entry in each category receives an Image Award if the entry meets a predetermined criteria of excellence set by the judges. (An Image Award may be presented to both a for-profit and a not-for-profit entry in the same category if both receive outstanding scores.)
The judges may also present a special Judges' Award in any category. This award is given for an outstanding entry that achieves maximum results while using a minimum amount of money.
